We started Serious Onions because we were tired of seeing small businesses pay agency prices for template work. Logos that look like clip art. Websites that take six months and still don't work on a phone. Vinyl on a van that looks like it was done with a marker pen.

Agencies charge what they charge because they have overheads: account managers, project coordinators, creative directors who look at your brief once and then hand it to a junior. You end up paying for a lot of people who aren't actually making your stuff.

We keep it lean. You talk to the person doing the work. No account managers, no project boards, no discovery workshops unless you actually want one. Just good design, fair prices and stuff delivered when we said it would be.

Most of our clients are trades, hospitality, retail and small businesses across the UK. People who need things to look professional without the runaround. People who have tried the cheap route and got burned, or who've been quoted a fortune by an agency for a logo and a business card.

We're based in the UK, we work remotely with clients nationwide, and we usually turn things around fast — because most small businesses can't wait three months to get moving.
