Young Mobile is a UK-based mobile service retailer distributing free Pay As You Go SIM cards from the major networks — Vodafone, O2, VOXI, giffgaff and EE. The product is genuinely compelling: free SIMs, no contracts, no credit checks. But without a strong brand and a well-designed store, it would get lost against the noise of network-branded competitors.
They needed a brand identity that appealed to a young, budget-conscious audience, and an e-commerce site that made choosing and ordering a SIM card as simple and friction-free as possible. The product should practically sell itself — the site just needed to get out of the way and let it.
We built the identity around a bold purple — #752C86 — energetic, youthful, and deliberately distinctive in a market dominated by network-branded reds, blues and whites. Purple gave Young Mobile a strong, ownable colour that didn't belong to any competitor and immediately read as modern and independent.
The identity is minimal and clean, set in the Assistant typeface — approachable and contemporary without being flashy. No-fuss branding that lets the product proposition do the talking. We delivered logo variants, colour and type specifications, and a set of brand guidelines to keep everything consistent across web and print.
We built a Shopify e-commerce store with clear product grids, network filtering, and a checkout flow designed to be as quick and painless as possible. The key selling points — no contracts, no credit checks, next-day delivery — are prominent throughout, not buried in small print.
The site is mobile-first throughout, because the target audience lives on their phones. Product cards are clean and scannable, letting customers filter by network and find exactly what they need without friction. Every page reinforces the simplicity of the offer: pick a network, add to basket, get your SIM tomorrow.

Alongside the brand and store, we produced product photography guidelines to ensure any future imagery stayed consistent with the clean, bright aesthetic. Promotional banner templates were designed for homepage hero updates and seasonal campaigns. Social media templates gave the team everything they needed to stay on-brand across Instagram and TikTok without needing a designer for every post.
